About Us

Justin & Jen Potter | Storytellers. Photographers. Team in Life & Business.

Hey there — we’re Justin and Jen, the duo behind the lens.

What started as Justin’s solo passion for landscape and motorsports photography has grown into a full-blown husband-and-wife team capturing real, raw, unforgettable moments together. From the sidelines of sports fields to the soft glow of golden-hour weddings, we work side by side to tell your story in the most authentic way possible.

Our style? Grit meets heart. Energy meets emotion. Whether we’re timing the perfect Sportrait shot just as a baseball cracks off the bat, or quietly capturing a tearful first look at a wedding — we’re always looking for the real, the fleeting, the in-between.

We’ve got roots in action — Justin cut his teeth shooting motorsports and chasing mountain light in our van. That fast-paced experience taught us how to anticipate the split second that matters. Jen brings a glowing, infectious love for life and people — the kind that instantly puts you at ease and brings out the best in every shoot. With years of experience in marketing and management, she’s not only the heart of what we do — she’s also the one who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.

We’re based in North Carolina but always chasing new horizons — on the road, in the wild, or wherever your story takes us.

Thanks for considering us to be a part of your moment.

We can’t wait to capture something amazing with you.

Meet Justin

Photographer. Racer. Visual Storyteller.

Born in the Mountains of Colorado and raised in Northern California, Justin’s love for the outdoors and motorsports was sparked early. With a camera in one hand and a wrench in the other, he grew up following the drag racing circuit alongside his dad — a freelance photographer — eventually stepping behind the wheel himself.

By 20, he’d claimed a local short track championship and moved to North Carolina to chase his dream of racing full-time. He became one of the top body fabricators in the NASCAR series, shaping cars with precision and passion. But as that form of craftsmanship began to fade from the sport, a shift happened.

The road trips to racetracks started doubling as hiking adventures — always with his Canon in tow. That creative spark reignited, and photography moved from a side passion to a full-time pursuit.

Since then, Justin’s work has landed on magazine covers and major brand platforms including Canon USA, Mobil 1, and Monster Energy. In 2023, he proudly captured Kevin Harvick’s farewell season and led photography for Stewart-Haas Racing — blending his two worlds in the most meaningful way.

From racetracks to mountaintops, Justin’s journey is all about chasing moments that matter — and helping others see them in a whole new light.

Meet Jen

Jen brings the warmth, intuition, and sharp creative sense that make our photo sessions truly shine. With a background in marketing and management, she’s spent years helping businesses connect with people — now, she uses that same gift to make clients feel instantly comfortable in front of the camera.

Her glowing, infectious love for life and people isn’t just something you notice — it’s something you feel. Whether she’s fixing a hair out of place, spotting the perfect candid moment, or organizing behind the scenes, Jen brings calm to the chaos and joy to every shoot.

She didn’t start out behind the camera, but after tagging along on countless adventures, she picked it up — and now, she’s an essential part of everything we do. From managing our business and finances to running our promotions and client communication, Jen is my right hand in every sense of the word.

When she’s not juggling ten things at once, on a trail, or planning our next road trip, or sneaking extra dog treats into her bag “just in case.”
